Please can it be confirmed the compatibility of the public preview SDK (2.0.1407.1400) with the original private beta device?

Do we need to wait to receive the new official v2 kinect hardware or can we simply use the public preview SDK with an original v2 beta device if desired?

Once we receive an official hardware device, will the original test device continue to function? Have any hardware changes been made between the original and new v2 kinect hardware devices?

yes I can confirm it works with the early preview devices received from the Developer Preview Program. I have one and the samples all work for me.
