The preview window for excel file shows "We can't show a preview of this item." It works fine for other office files. Any way to fix it?

Did you do any options or customizations for the preview page?

Have you tried to install cumulative update for Office Web Apps?

For troubleshooting this issue, please check the log logged in to the Office Web Apps server and analyze the log file from "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OfficeWebApps\Data\Logs\ULS" location.

The "C:\ProgramData" forlder is a hidden folder. If you do not see C:\ProgramData folder, change your explorer's view to display hidden items.
