I am planning developing a project that tracks and analyze some parts in detail of the Human body, like the dimension of the fingers and the distance and angles from fingers, etc.

My question is, I tried the SDK's availables of the Kinect, and I didn't found no one that fits on my solution.
I am asking you guys, witch one you recommend it to use to solve this problem?
And there are any open-sourced kinects without being from Microsoft?

How did the SDK not fit your requirements? What was missing where you could not measure the distances? Keep in mind the SDK is designed to get you the raw visual data from the sensor, you would need to either develop your own or use third party computer vision libraries that would do the detection for your specific scenario.
