I assume the targets move too fast, but it would be really neat if the Kinect could track the flying clay targets and detect if one breaks.  Let me know if that is possible.  Thanks

The camera only operates at 30fps with a range of .8 to 8 meters. I am sure these might travel faster than that and travel further than the range. Keep in mind, the tech uses a structured IR light pattern and if the intent is outside you will have to somehow filter out the external IR sources(the sun being the biggest one).
