We used Microsoft's HTML Help Workshop to create a HTML help document for our application. Now we experience the problem that the Java applet that displays the navigation bar and the table of content (HHCtrl.jar) is blocked by Java. I have read a couple of pages on the Internet related to the problem of Java blocking applets and I have learned that since Java version 7, unsigned applets have been blocked - perhaps this is the reason why HHCtrl.jar is blocked. Now I wonder what we should do. Is a new, signed version of HHCtrl.jar available anywhere? Or is it at least possible to obtain the source code of HHCtrl.jar so that I can fix the problem myself? The HTML Help Workshop is already quite old (no update since 1999) and it is strange that there is no up-to-date tool for the purpose it serves.
