Using EE4 - created a live broadcast project

Added a Video Device which is a Camcorder using DV cable to my Pavillion dv7   The camcorder appears in the Video Device as "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR"

Added an Audio Device An External microphone ,

选择视频源并成功开始发布

Cued the Video source and successfully began publishing

Until I listened to the audio.  The Audio capture was not through the external microphone but the Video source<camcorder mic>

As an experiment.   I've removed the Video Source and published only Audio Device to the PP.  The Audio Source worked correctly. 

"Microsoft DV Camera and VCR"似乎覆盖了外部音频源。 这是设计的吗？

The "Microsoft DV Camera and VCR" seems to override the External Audio source.  Is this by design?

This is an issue with firewire devices that we have seen and we are looking at getting a fix in for it as soon as possible. Thanks for the info!
