The API doesn't provide actors of updates in shared folders. As we build a notification service on top of Skydrive this is critical.

Hi Martin, the file's "from" object lets you know who created a file in a shared folder. If I sign in with a different account and upload a file to a shared folder, that file's "from" value will point to that account:

Unfortunately this only seems to apply to the original creator of the file -- if I sign in with a different account and overwrite the file with another file of the same name, the "updated_time" value changes but the "from" value remains set to the account that uploaded the original.
