我想知道是否真的需要在应该采用专用缓存角色的服务器上安装IIS Webrole，尽管没有真正的IIS功能需要。 是否真的需要在缓存服务器上安装II？我认为它是关于其他AppFabric功能的依赖
，对吧？也许有些管理员对此并不满意。每个新节点都意味着一个新的Web服务器:-)或者我误解了这个？

I'm wondering if it is really neccesary to install the IIS Webrole on a Server that should take a dedicated caching role although no IIS features are really needed. Is it really a need to Install IIs on a Cache Server? I think it's about the dependency to other AppFabric Features, right? Maybe some Admins are not really happy with this. Each new node  means a new Webserver :-) Or did I misunderstand this?

要安装AppFabric缓存，就不需要IIS，即IIS不是安装/使用AppFabric Cache的先决条件。在安装AppFabric时，仅选择缓存功能，然后安装程序将不会检查IIS先决条件。

To install AppFabric cache there is NO need to have IIS i.e. IIS is NOT a prerequisite to install/use AppFabric Cache. While installing AppFabric, select cache features only, then the installer will not check for IIS prereq.
