Thank you for posting here.

As this page said: "In most cases you should consider configuring Code Search on a separate server". So I think you should configure on a separate server not on the TFS Server. Since you have 30~50 developers, the server should have at least 8GB RAM, and the disk space should be 30% of the size of all the collections that will be indexed.
