Having installed Blend 4, the loading time is very slow on my PC, a quad core Pentium i7, 8GB Ram, 1GB graphics card (PC only 6 months old so and good spec.), Windows 7 64-Bit.

It takes over 1 minute for the Open / New project dialog box just to appear - what's going on here?  Processor activity does not seem particularly excessive.  The menu options remain disabled and eventually the dialog box asking if I want to open an existing project or create a new one appear.

Samething for me. Studio 4 loading time worst than Studio 3 on Windows 7, however loading time on XP very fast. DWM?
