I am attempting to create an offline installer, or layout, for Visual Studio 2017 Community edition, since my normal WiFi is too slow to download the several gigabytes of data. When the installer gets near the end of downloading the files for the layout, a message from my antivirus comes up saying that WinSdkInstall.ps1 was blocked from executing. It is being classified as IDP.ALEXA.51, and I am given the option to quarantine the file or add it as an exception.

The antivirus I am using is Avast Antivirus, and it has the latest updates applied.

I have no idea what I should do, as this has happened twice already(the first time not displaying any popup and the Installer crashing).

Can someone please help me solve this annoying issue?

Sorry, if I misunderstand your question.

If your antivirus "Avast Antivirus" interferes the installer, why don't you stop or uninstall (temporarily) the antivirus.
