I already have visual studio 2010 ultimate installed (it comes with the .NET 4)  and when i'm trying to install expression I get message that I need to install .NET framework 4 first and it forwards me o microsoft .NET 4 download, if I install it (the framework) then the expression blend work but the visual studio fails to start. What can I do? why the installer does not recognize that I already have .NET framework?

Do you have the RTM version of VS2010 and .Net 4?  Could you check the version number in the programs and features control panel and post it here?
