hello All,

Im facing below error when opening the visual studio 2017

 c:\program files (x86)\microsoft visual studio\2017\community\common7\ide\devenv.exe

the application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail.

kindly help me resolve the issue

Hi vijendra,

Welcome to MSDN forum.

Did you have the other version of visual studio installed?

Firstly, please reboot your system and open visual studio installer from start menu to repair visual studio 2017. 

In the installer, look for the edition of Visual Studio that you installed. Next, choose More, and then choose Repair.

If it doesn't work, Try to uninstall visual c++ redistributable 2017 and reinstall it.
