Hello,

I would like to run a ClickOnce (offline and online) application as a Scheduled Task.  The application installs, runs, and the ClickOnce updates work as advertised.  When I try to setup the Scheduled Task the Wizard asks for the location of the program. 

How do I find the exe location?  Will it change after a ClickOnce update?

I used click once applications for literally five years straight for a daily automated application for our business. Switched to a new server running 2008 R2, and suddenly the application wouldn't automatically update. I tried all kinds of stuff before I finally figured out a proper solution. It's extremely stupid, but it works:

1. Create a batch file anywhere on the system, and point it to the appref-ms file... i.e. ("C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Program Group Name\Program Name.appref-ms")

2. Point your scheduled task to the batch file.

Problem solved.
