Hello,

While Spying over individual controls the below screen for Microsoft Dynamic GP, it is found that all the controls are having the same type that is client as shown in below snap for sales transaction entry screen.
In order to deal with entering data in specif text box or click on a spcific link, how to identify them as they are all having same control type.

Is there any Custom plugin which can be used to deal with such controls?

Any help would be highly appreciated as it is going to be blocker to a Client POC

Sorry that I’m not familiar with Dynamic GP application.

Could you please share the screenshot of the control which you are talking about?

As mentioned in "Supported Configurations and Platforms for Coded UI Tests and Action Recordings", the web client is fully supported, but the application is partially support. So, please first make sure coded UI test is supports to test that controls.

What do you mean about same control type? Do you mean there are multiple same control in the same web page?

For example: there are three buttons on the same web page. So, the control types for these three buttons are "button".

Usually, each control has its unique identification ID, we could find the control based on this unique ID in coded UI test.

In addition, I suggest you could visit Dynamic GP forums to get better answer from the Dynamic GP Experts.
