We are trying to move code projects for one project to another in TFS 2015 within the same collection.  We know we can branch the project to the new project and get back to the history.  However, we would rather keep the collection organized.  Moving the project with history would be much better.  the target project has the backlog, work-items, stories and ALM information from the user community.  Having all that together will help with code coverage analysis and deployments.  Will you direct me to the procedure for doing this type of move?  Is it even possible?

Thank you for posting here.

I suggest that you could try to use Team Foundation Server Integration Tools to move the project with history. But it is a lossy data transfer, there are something cannot be moved, like: Check-in notes, Labels, Permissions.
