Simply that. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't offer real end user customization of the GUI, both in Windows and in most of their software. In Windows 7, for example, you can choose any color you want for the window frame, but then there's that hideous baby blue color everywhere that only can be changed by using 3rd party software to hack into the msstyle and even some dlls and exes. And even worse, in the Live applications, which have a GUI that belongs in the 80s and not this decade, you can select any color, but somewhere in the program there's a barrier to not let the color chosen go below a certain luminosity, so even if you choose a dark green or dark blue, it's going to turn into an ugly pastel green or pastel blue. The only way I can stand it barely is selecting black, so the interface becomes a matte white, not even gray. But there has to be a way to hack into this barrier so that I can choose any color I want in the palette and it will stick. Can anyone help?

Also, I'm looking for the same thing but for Windows Media Player 12.
