名称不同但webapplication是相同的同一个农场。

示例：

内容数据库名称== DDDD

TO

网站集名称= BBB

内容数据库名称== CCCC 

使用sql服务器内容DB DDDD进行完全备份恢复Contetn DB CCCC

Hi Team,

Is there any impact while i was copy the content DB from one site collection AAAA to another site collection BBBB with in the same we application, Please let me know the impacts or any conflict in sharepoint 2010. Both site collections names and Content Names are different but webapplication is same and same farm.

Example:

From

Site collection Name = AAAA

Content DB Name== DDDD

TO

Site collection Name = BBB

content DB Name == CCCC 

Using sql server content DB DDDD take full backup To restore Contetn DB CCCC

What you want to do? make a copy of the Site collection within same web application?

Because what method you mentioned is not how SharePoint copy stuff work? So please explain the objective?
