Welcome to the MSDN forum.

It seems the VS installer start and disappear, right? Before the installation, please make sure windows update is up-to-date, temporarily disable any antivirus software, clean the %temp% and re-run the installer as administrator.

If this issue persists, please have a try with the following to troubleshoot this issue:

  1. Have a look at this troubleshot doc and delete the VS installer directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Installer) or run the InstallCleanup.exe to remove installation files , then run the installer as administrator
  2. Try to install after a clean boot
  3. Check if you install the RivaTunerStatistics or Mirekusoft on your computer or not, disabled or stop them to re-run the VS installer
