Hi I have just download the trial and am building a site using the  business template i am not a proffesional at web design
Q how do i change the existing iformation on the template  ( EG phone number  Logo ) as these items i cant cant by clicking on them as they dont highlight
 Q how do i get it to change the information on one page so it does it to all pages

Before you start trying to modify a template you need to understand a little about how Expression Web works. I recommend that you go to  http://by-expression.com/content/tutorials.aspx download the associated zip file of assets and work along with the Basic Website tutorial. That way you will learn important basics about working on a website (using headings instead of formatting toolbar) and after you finish (about an hour and a half) go to http://any-expression.com and get the free ebook on DWTs - Dynamic Web Templates that will teach you more about using templates. Then you will be more or less ready to start working on one of the templates that come with Expression Web and will have enough of an understanding of terminology to be able to understand answers you would get here to your questions.

Now having said that to modify any part of a locked region of a template you must open the master.dwt (for those supplied with Expression Web that's the name anyway) and modify it there not in the pages attached to the DWT. This is part of the basics covered in the two resources I gave you links to.
