Hello,

I just started working with UWP for the first time and created an app that will run on desktops and will not be submitted to the store. I am unable to get websocket to communicate with the server on computers where the Powershell script was used to install the app. If I install the release or debug app from visual studios to the local or remote machine using the remote debugger it works without any issues and the app will communicate with the server. This makes using breakpoints impossible since it works every time I build and deploy with Visual studios. As much as I would like to create the windows exe file I am confined to UWP due to a limitation of an SDK I am using. Thanks in advance.

After searching around it seems that localhost connection is blocked when app is being sideloaded.
