Hi,

It's pretty easy to use Visual Studio Online (the preview) from the "old" Azure Portal.  You simply turn on the option from the Configure tab "Edit in Visual Studio Online".  Then, a link appears in "Quick Glance" on the Dashboard tab to edit your current web app in Visual Studio Online.  Click on that, and voila, you're editing your production site.  Really, really slick.

I am unable to find that option on the "new" Azure Portal.  Does anyone know if it's available?  I'd like to live exclusively in the new portal, but this is a super valuable piece of functionality for me.

In new portal also its available, new portal visual studio online is renamed to Visual Studio Team Services i.e. You can see that as Team Project (Preview).
