Hi there.. I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this but I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm using Vista 64bit with all patches and latest Windows Live Photo Gallery (WLPG) installed. After installing the first time I chose not to associate file types with WLPG but I've since wanted to change my mind.  I can't find an option for this in the program itself so I thought I'd go into Default Programs to set it there. Problem is its not listed on my PC for some reason.  On my 32bit Vista PC its listed, but not on my 64bit Vista pc.  I've tried googling and comparing some registry entries with info I found between each PC and everything looks correct. Anyone have any ideas how to get WLPG display in Default Programs properly?

I found a fix at the following site, although it needs to be tweaked slightly for 64bit systems:

The fix mentions running the command:

regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Windows Live\Photo Gallery\PhotoViewerShim.dll"

For 64bit, I changed it to the following and it worked:

regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Windows Live\Photo Gallery\PhotoViewerShimx64.dll"
