Hello,
I have a SharePoint Designer workflow that uses the Copy List Item Extended to move the item from the production list to an archive list. I have had it fail on a couple occasions in Production and if I manually start the workflow for the impacted items it will complete. I have seen it consistently in one of our lower environments and when I try to manually start it then it fails too. When I check designer I see this error.
Could not deserialize object. The type 'DP.Sharepoint.Workflow.CopyListItemExtended' could not be resolved.
If I try to remove the action and add it back in I cannot. The action is listed but when you click on it nothing happens.
What are the possible causes of this error? We have been reviewing ULS logs and troubleshooting but so far we haven't been able to figure it out. It seems like the action is just not available sometimes and more often in the lower environments then production which leads me to believe something needs to be done at the Server or Farm level.
