hey, i'm using EW2 and have recently created a homepage for my new website. i'm pretty new to webdesigning so html coding is not my thing. i pretty much made the site from what i saw and from what i have learned. however, when i decided to test and see if my dwt would work on other pages,  it didn't. when i added somthing to my dwt, saved it and updated the attached pages, EW said that it had updated successfully, yet when i went to to the pages and looked at them the changes won't appear. I have tried it several times, but it just won't show up. i even cheacked in the browser, but i didn't see the changes. if u guys could help me out i would really appreciate it. heres the code if it helps

We really need to see the page not just the code but from looking at the code I expect the page will render like ____ when you have content in it. You have a lot of positon: absolute with tables heights and other stuff specified. Don't use the spacebar or the enter key for adding space. For prototyping use res ipsum test (that latin text used in the tempaltes that ship with Expression Web) so you can see how something will look with real content even if the content is nonsense.

As for not updating - make a back-up of your site before you apply any template so that if it fails or does something funky you have a version you can revert to.

Now there are a few reasons that templates don't update pages.

1. You aren't working in a local website. Either you are working live on a webserver or you are using a unc path //server/folder or you haven't created a local site.
2. You don't have meta data enabled. Site > Site Settings > General Tab, checkbox for "use meta data to manage this site."
