I am trying to utilize expression web's sitemap tool for navigation.  I also have a dynamic web template that I am using.  So I am currently trying to use the dwt to place my menu control but I keep getting an error.  I think I'm missing the concept...How do I use the sitemap concurrently with a dwt file?  Does anyone have any suggestions?  From the tutorials, the sitemap was created in a .aspx file.  Perhaps my site navigation should go in header and menu in my default.aspx.  Any help will be appreciated.

ASP.NET controls only work in .aspx pages. While you can attach an .aspx page to a .dwt template, this is not a very common scenario. When you use ASP.NET, you should probably use Master Pages instead of Dynamic Web Templates.
