FT 2003 had it  right; simply select, for example, an entire column and with a few keystrokes, you set a margin for all cells within it, and you were done. Not with EW! Every darned modifications is turned  into a "style" that simply clogs up the code view, and worse, partially covers the cell you have created as you are writing into it.

Forget styles; I just want a simple WSYIWYG.  Why did they take that simple but powerful cell formatting feature away? Now it's called Paragraph Formatting.

Not only that, once you format a cell, God forbid you type something after having moved to that cell with the Tab key - you will lose the formatting and have to reformat! What a time waster.

This is a downgrade from FP2003 All Microsoft had to do is eliminatethe need for extensions, but no, the had to complicate things.

Yes I have checked online documentation - no relief in sight. Webmastering used to be relatively easy and common-sensical.
