Hi All, first of all, thanks for your input.

I downloaded VS Community 2017 and in it i downloaded some extra stuff like C++ and C# and Game Dev package. Now that i have everything i want, i would like to take this current VS that i have, with all my extras and compile it all for offline install as i use a offline computer to experiment with code and game dev.

I saw there is a vs_community.exe app that you can download and run (vs_community --layout ...) but that process starts all the downloads from scratch and i live in Africa! I don't have bandwidth for that. I want to just keep what i have already downloaded and use it offline, can someone help me please.

It doesn't work, because a complete offline installer contains not just the packages of different workloads, but bootstrapper file of VS edition, local files of cache, certificates folder and so on.

I understand there is a network bandwidth in your living area, please find another machine with a much better network, then refer to:
