How can I export Powerpoint to a video with the right H.264 codec settings for Wistia upload

I can export presentations from pptx fine as video and they play beautifully on a PC as mp4, great.

But I need to upload to a hosting platform (Wistia) and then they get all messed up, either glitchy or appalling resolution. I've tried various converters and also Handbrake, but nothing seems to work without glitches. Actual video editors like Premiere Elements won't even export .mp4. I know I'm not talking real video, but Powerpoint animations and transitions.
Is there some sort of add in to Powerpoint that could give detailed control of the output, preferably with a Wistia preset?
Every time I search for answers I get stuff on importing video to pptx. But I want to control the export better.

As far as I know, there is no such add-in. PowerPoint add-in could achieve the function which has been supported in PowerPoint, and could automate it. As you have tried, the exported file did not work under Wistia and it works under PC. I think you need to confirm Wistia whether there is any way to support this.
