When I select: 
         Site / Site Settings / General Tab

The check box is Un-highlighted so I can not check it on.  It seems on with the (Grayish or unhilighted area- meaning an area that is no accessible.)
Why is it not allowing me to turn this on or off?

I purchased MS Expression Web 2 from MS as an upgrade from Front Page.

Does anyone have an email address or phone number so I can contact them?

By default, you cannot remove metadata from sites in your My Web Sites folder if they were created by EW2 or imported there by EW2. The check mark will always be grayed out.

If it's grayed out with a check mark, your site has metadata and you should keep it as it enables EW2 to provide you the reports on your site.

If you absolutlely want to be able to place or remove the check mark, enabling or disabling metadata for a site in your My Web Sites folder, simply move the site out of the My Web Sites folder.

Only those sites that you create or import with EW2 will get the metadata automatically and the check mark will be grayed out, but not sites that you simply open and work on with EW2-- even if you dragged/copied/pasted them into your My Web Sites folder.
