I got the following inner exception when calling SaveChanges:

A dependent property in a ReferentialConstraint is mapped to a store-generated column. Column: 'Id'.

It's hard to track down, because most of my tables have a generic "Id" name for the primary key.

I'd like to suggest that the exception also indicates the entity that the column belongs to.
