Hi ,

we are using API for encryption and decryption that come under Windows.Security.Cryptography namespace. Our client needs to know if these API'S are FIPS complaint or not.

We didn't find any document  for Windows.Security.Cryptography namespace if it's FIPS complaint or not.Kindly provide us with some links/document if available.

For your question, I am confused about the FIFS Complaint. What does this mean?

Security.Cryptography namespace and Windows.Security.Cryptography Namespace are different.

Security.Cryptography namespace is System.Security.Cryptography Namespace. It is from .NET API.

Windows.Security.Cryptography Namespace is UWP API reference. Here is the MS document.
