Hi, I just installed windows 8 and I have a solution consisting of 5 projects that were previously on a win7 machine and they were built with VS2008 and they are dotnet3.5. I did not make any changes but when I try to build on the win8 machine I get the error in the subject. I have not made a special build file for this, it is 2 websites, 2 class libraries and 1 winform app. They all share the same libraries, this is why they are all in the same solution. I have never seen this error on win 7 or when it was originally on winxp. does anyone know what this is?

EntityDeploy would be related to EF and the EDMX file I believe.  Are you using an EDMX?  When you installed VS what version did you install?  Did you install the service pack?  Did you install the version of EF that your application is using?
