I have a number of original jpgs cataloged in ME2, and when I opened some from 2003 and 05,  I noticed that they had migrated to current dates in the date finder. These particular jpgs were recently re-worked in camera raw and then their folders were updated in the catalog folder menu. When I look at the original media file, it show the correct created dates of 2003 or 05, but the modified dates that appear from the CR corrections are the dates that these jpgs now appear under in the date finder, not as they original did under the created date, which is what I would like them under. I think this problem has something to do with them being jpgs and not dng files, and the metadata differences between the two. Is there a way that I can get them back under the correct date finder date, which would be their created date and not the recent modified date. I am on a Mac running Leopard.

Look on the Info tab. Do the jpgs show a capture date? The dates Expression Media looks at are in order of

Capture Date
Event Date
File date

I can't see a reason for them to be using the modified date if Expression Media can see the capture date.
