I have a huge problem, I noticed that when I go under the properties of an image in Windows, I notice that some images are not excepting annotation metadata from Expressions Media.  For example, I have 30 images in a folder, 20 of them have accepted the metadata and 10 have not.  I have tried to resync, import to a new catalog and resync, but nothing.  Their is no security set on those images so I dont understand why some images cant embed the metadata.  I tried using a Metadata application called Pixvue, and that program is embedding the metadata just fine, but NOT Media 2! If anyone can help please let me know???  It seems like the xmp information is not embedding, is this a Media issue or Windows issue?? Thanks for your helllllllpppppp!!

Hi Guy,

We write to the original files, not to XMP, so this does make sense. For instance, set up an Explorer window with details view. Open Expression Media. Import a RAW file with and XMP and note the modified date.
Add copyright info and maybe one or two other annotations and sync - only the modified date on the RAW file changes.

This is by design, but a lot of people dislike the way this works, so I'm monitoring this during future development.
