I installed Office 2013 Pro on a clean install of Win8 Pro.  I am unable to create or open existing databases.  When I try to create a blank database, I get the error: "Cannot open a database created with a previous version of your application." then "A problem occurred while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE server or Active X control.  Close the OLE server and restart it outside of Microsoft Access.  Then try the original operation again in Microsoft Access"

When I try to open an existing database (.accdb or .mdb), I get the error: "Cannot open a database created with a previous version of your application."
