In Apr 2011, I purchased VS 2010 Professional. The computer I was using finally died, so I'd like to re-install on my newer Windows 10 computer.  Although I have the install DVD and a valid license key, my first attempt resulted in an invalid license key error.

My old emails show that I had to download and install an ISO image of Visual Studio 2010 Web Developer before I could use my install disk successfully.  But when I go to the link for the ISO image, I get an updated page inviting me to install Visual Studio Community 2017.  Is it possible that, if I install that first, the VS 2010 Professional install will work?  Sounds unlikely.

What would it take to get a working version of VS Professional, with all the features I had before, without paying for VS 2017 Professional?
