     I have doubt on Data Migration to SharePoint. Is it possible to migrate data from SQL-server 2012 to SharePoint? The server is going to decommission. The data should be migrated to SharePoint.

                     那么将数据从SQL服务器迁移到SharePoint的所有先决条件应该是什么？Share Point Server 2013可以容纳数据吗？共享点服务器2013可以满足
的数据限制多少？

                      So what all prerequisites should be there to migrate the data from SQL-server to SharePoint?Share Point Server 2013 can accommodate the data? How much is the limit of data that can be accommodated by share Point server 2013?

Hello Anu, 

你需要考虑很多参数，但首先SQL只是你所有内容的后端数据库是存储的，而SharePoint只是前端，如果数据库没有连接到它的web应用程序，那么它根本不会显示。 

There are lot of parameter you need to consider, but at first SQL is just the back end where all your content database are stored and SharePoint is only front end, If Database is not attached to it's webapplication then it will not display at all.

As the server is going to be decommission, Do you just want a storage space to store content DB for archive purpose? if this is the case then you can get in touch with SQL team on your end.
