I had to uninstall and re-install Visual Studio because it kept crashing when opening or creating a project.  I used TotalUninstaller to uninstall VS.

Now I have another problem!! I don't see the Web template (with ASP.NET -> MVC options) when opening a new project or editing a current project is not available. Can’t even see the Web option/tab.  I have tried to modify the installation in control panel (the Web option was selected) and I have also ran the following:

devenv /resetuserdata

devenv /resetSettings

devenv /InstallVSTemplates

in the Developers Command Prompt but it did not solve my new problem. 

Can you please assist?

1. Did you run "devenv /InstallVSTemplates" with administrator privilege?
