Original began coding with VS 2015 community, and have 2 weeks of coding in various files (about 12).  At on point a few days ago I saw an opportunity to buy the pro version at a VERY good price.  I thought that it would be a good idea to pay a little back, and perhaps there were features in the pro version that were not in the community version.  Tried to download the pro version without deleting the community version.  The install ran for quite a while and then crashed.  Terns out a second version of VS cannot be installed while a previous edition exists on the computer.

I have now managed to clean my computer of old VS 2015 and have installed the community edition once more.  There is a "but".

When I try to load my saved programs, the IDE tells me they are not available.  Is there any way I can recover and access the files that were originally written in VC++ 2015 community??

Use the Windows Explorer to find the files on your disk drive(s). If they are not there then you probably can't get them back.
