Getting error for missing assembly Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomClient version 10.0.0.0 when adding report to project. The computer actually has that assembly installed but it is version 11.0.9165.1186. What can we do to get past this error since only one version can be on computer.

According your description, it looks like the report has a dependency on the V10 version of ADOMS client. I’m not sure what has been installed or uninstalled on your machine.

But based on test in my side, I can create a new report in my project as below screenshot. I installed "SQL_AS_ADOMD.msi" in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Feature Pack.

Therefore, please try to reinstall the ADOMD client DLL file, download it from the Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Feature Pack (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29065). Click "install instructions" and look for "Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 ADOMD.NET".

After reinstallation, if your issue still persist, please refer to following similar case to get more information.
