I am facing a strange issue when trying to update a Taxonomy field through a list item event receiver. 

I am able to update the value of the Taxonomy field successfully, however the Search crawler does not seem to pick up the updated value of the taxonomy field.

Can you please let me know if anyone has faced this issue before.

Hi Madhu,

You have updated an item for list, working fine. this updated item/column value is not updated in search because of your search crawler not crawled that item.

To resolve that you have to start the crawl on your web application.
