   Does somebody have a solution to this problem? We converted our WP8 application to WP8.1 Silverlight. Right after that a message started appearing on application start in emulator reading "Microsoft Account Required" "To use this feature, you'll need to sign in with Microsoft account. If you don't have one, we'll help you create one. It should only take a moment." We tracked the problem down to the Microsoft AdControl. If this control is removed from the application the message does not show. As soon as it is added back it starts showing again. We didn't test it an a real WP8.1 device yet but this behavior is persistent on emulator. We tried AdControl version 6.2.920 and 6.2.40325 with the same result.
