Hi

I can boot my PC to windows logon screen which does not show the user account logon boxes therefore i cannot log in to windows,

I have done a CHKDSK through the recovery console, no problems were reported.

I ran LISTSVC in the console and noticed that Logical Disk manager Administrative service  dmboot was disabled would this cause a logon  problem, as i can't log in to windows therefore i can't change the registry entry or its status in services, would changing via the recovery console solve the problem
