I tried to install SP1 for Visual Studio 2008 and it fails with the following error message: "This installation is forbidden by system policy. Contact your system administrator." I am an administrator on my machine and installing from the HDD. I also ran windows update and made sure eveything is current.

Which includes:
1. Starting the machine in safe mode and installing with a newly created local admin account. Setup fails with the same message.
2. Unstalling VS2008, removing the entire .NET framework, used Aaron Stebner's .NET Framework Setup Cleanup Utility, reintalled VS 2008, ran the SP Preparation Utility and tried to install VS2008 SP1 and its fails with the same message.
None of it works. I have zipped my log files and uploaded to the Skydrive. Please help!!!

To resolve this error
- 将安装DVD复制到桌面.
