Basically while coding and debugging i use "/Home" for example as a path
When deployed i have to change the code to "Home" that is drop the leading /

Why is that? please help me understand and also how code it so that the paths work on both IIS7 and VS own iis express

ps: this effects multiple paths for ajax, controllers, loading xml and images etc. A real pain!
