I need the SharePoint Group owner to add/delete members of it but NOT delete the group itself? I want to prevent deleting the group.

As labeled at Group Settings: The owner can change anything about the group such as adding and removing members or deleting the group. Only one user or group can be the owner.

Is this possible? Thanks in advance

As far as I know, there is no way to do that: the group's owner has full control on the group itself, therefore he/she is allowed to perform any action on the group.
