i have created a  9 (3/3) promoted links in sharepoint edit page how ever on home screen it only shows  three links

Your promoted link list's default view has been set to use the "Number of items to display list view of this list" to 3.

You need to increase the size as you wanted to shown in the  list view webpart on the page by editing the View.
