I downloaded VWD without errors. I am running Windows XP SP3. I create a new Web Site "TestSite" and keep the Default.aspx. I am using Dynamic Port Numbers (default). If I click View in Browser, two instances of the Default.aspx page open with the correct content.

If I click F5 or Ctrl-F5, two (sometimes three) instances of Internet Explorer open, but they are blank and the VWD IDE displys the error:

One of the the instances of IE has a tab "Blank Page". The other has a tab "Connecting..."
In either case the ASP.NET Development Server does appear in the Notification area.
