I am trying to create a new c# web app using visual studio 2015. I started with File ->  new project project -> Simplyfy.Web Initial Katana Web App (not sure of that is the right choice, but I don't see the good old "c# Project" on the template list). The solution is created, but I immediately get an error in the solution explorer window: "Project File was Unloaded". I tried to right click and relaod project, but the error does not go away.

What am I missing?

I am trying to create a c# web app to do add, remove, edit data in some of my tables in a sql server db.

I start with File -> New -> Project

In the Project Type pane, I do not see any templates for  Visual C# Projects type

What am I missing and how to resolve?
